See Apps Studio LLC (“we”, “us”; the app’s publisher was previously named CodingByJerez) built SeeGym (package com.codingbyjerez.seegym) as a commercial app. This page explains what data SeeGym accesses, how it is used, where it is stored, and how you can delete it.
Summary
- SeeGym has no user account. You do not sign up, and we hold no profile about you on our servers.
- Everything you record — programs, sessions, sets, exercises, body measurements — is stored locally on your device.
- SeeGym can read health data from Apple Health (iOS) and Health Connect (Android), only with your explicit permission. That data is used on the device, to display your own statistics. It is never sent to us, never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising.
- Two features send data off your device, and both are entirely under your control: an optional backup to your own iCloud or Google Drive, and sharing a program by link when you explicitly tap Share.
- SeeGym contains no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK.
This policy is effective as of 15 August 2026.
Health and fitness data
SeeGym integrates with Apple HealthKit on iOS and with Android Health Connect on Android. Access is always read-only on Android, and read-only on iOS except for the Apple Watch companion described below.
How we access it. SeeGym requests access through the standard operating-system APIs. The system shows you a permission screen listing exactly which data types are requested, and nothing is read before you accept. You can review or revoke this access at any time — on iOS in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > SeeGym, on Android in the Health Connect app under App permissions > SeeGym. If you decline, SeeGym keeps working; only the corresponding statistics are hidden.
What we read, and why.
- Height and body weight — read only when you tap “Sync” in your profile, to fill in your body measurements without retyping them. These two values are then saved with your profile settings on the device.
- Heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen (SpO2), VO2 max, and active energy burned — read on demand, for the time window of a workout you are viewing, to draw your heart-rate curve, heart-rate zones, calorie estimate and recovery statistics.
How it is used and stored. Health samples are read at the moment a screen needs them, for the period being displayed, and are held in memory only. SeeGym does not copy heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, VO2 max or calorie samples into its database, and does not transmit them anywhere. The single exception is the height and weight you choose to sync into your profile, which are stored locally with your other settings and are therefore included in the optional backup described below — a backup that goes to your own personal cloud account and to which we have no access.
What we never do. We do not use health data for advertising, profiling, or any form of targeting. We do not sell it, transfer it, or make it available to any third party. We do not use it for research, and we do not have a copy of it on any server.
Apple Watch (iOS only). If you run a workout with the SeeGym Apple Watch app, it opens a workout session so watchOS can record your heart rate, and saves that workout to your own Apple Health app at the end. This write goes to your device’s Health store on your Apple Watch and iPhone; it does not go to us.
Storage of your workout data
Programs, sessions, sets, personal records, custom exercises and app settings are stored in a local database on your device. There is no account and no server-side copy. Uninstalling the app removes this local database.
Optional cloud backup
So that reinstalling the app does not cost you your history, SeeGym can back up your data to your own personal cloud storage:
- on iOS, to a private container in your iCloud account;
- on Android, to the hidden application folder of your Google Drive. This is opt-in and requires you to sign in with Google and grant the
drive.appdatascope, which only ever gives an app access to its own hidden folder — never to the rest of your Drive.
The backup contains your workout database, your app settings (including the profile values you entered or synced: height, weight, body fat, gender, date of birth) and the images of any custom exercises you created. We cannot read these files. They live in your account, under your control, and you can delete them at any time (see Data deletion below).
Sharing a program by link (optional)
When — and only when — you explicitly choose to share a program or a session by link, SeeGym uploads the structure of that program (its name, exercises, sets, targets and rhythm) and the images of any custom exercises it contains, so that the person you send the link to can download them. This upload is hosted on Cloudflare R2 under the domain share.seegym.app.
A share bundle contains no health data, no body measurements, no history and no identifier. Links expire automatically: 30 days after they were last opened, and 180 days at the very most. If you want a link removed sooner, email us with the link and we will delete the object.
Advertising
SeeGym shows optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier and standard technical data in order to serve and measure ads; see Google’s policies linked below. Where required (European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland), consent is collected through Google’s User Messaging Platform before any personalised ad is requested, and you can change your choice at any time from the app.
Health data is never shared with AdMob or with any advertising partner, and is never used to target ads.
Privacy policies of the third-party services used by the app: Google Play Services, Google AdMob, Google Drive API (Android backup only), Apple iCloud (iOS backup only), Cloudflare (share links only).
Analytics and crash reporting
SeeGym contains no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK. We do not track your usage of the app, and we receive no automatic report when it misbehaves.
Other device permissions
- Camera and photo picker — used only when you create a custom exercise and choose an illustration. The image is stored on your device (and in your own cloud backup, if you enabled it). It is never uploaded, unless the exercise is part of a program you explicitly share by link.
- Notifications — local notifications only, to tell you that a rest period or a timer has ended while the app is in the background. There is no push server and no message is sent from us.
- Internet — required to download shared programs, to synchronise your own cloud backup, and to load ads.
Security
Data in transit to your cloud backup and to the share service is protected with HTTPS/TLS. Your local data is protected by the sandboxing and encryption of your device’s operating system. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data deletion
You can delete your data at any time, by yourself, without contacting us:
- Delete individual items — remove a session, a program, a folder or a custom exercise directly in the app.
- Delete everything on the device — uninstall SeeGym. This removes the local database and every file the app created on your device.
- Delete your cloud backup — open Profile > Backup and tap “Delete backup”. This erases the backup from your iCloud or Google Drive and turns the feature off. On iOS you can also delete it from Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > SeeGym; on Android from Google Drive > Settings > Manage apps > SeeGym > Delete hidden app data.
- Revoke health access — on iOS in Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > SeeGym; on Android in the Health Connect app under App permissions > SeeGym. SeeGym keeps no copy of health samples, so revoking access is enough to stop all access to them. To remove the height and weight already saved in your profile, clear those fields in the app or uninstall it.
- Delete a shared link — shared links expire on their own (30 days after last use, 180 days maximum). To have one deleted sooner, email us the link.
Because SeeGym has no user accounts, we hold no personal profile that could be deleted on our side. If you still wish to submit a deletion request, or if you have any doubt about data you may have sent us through a share link, write to contact@seegym.com with the details. We will action the request and reply within 30 days.
Children’s privacy
SeeGym does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary action.

The app may contain links to other sites. These external sites are not operated by us, and we have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content, privacy policies or practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page; the date shown above is updated accordingly.
